Welle Casino

Context

Welle is a live JER-TEAM casino with a light tropical brand. I led frontend on this product: set the architecture, drove delivery with design, and worked with other developers on the same codebase. Scope covered lobby, deposit-first onboarding, cashier, loyalty/VIP panels, and the shared app shell.

Problem

Account-first registration delayed the first deposit. We needed deposit-first onboarding that still handled bonuses, multi-currency payments, KYC, and a polished light-theme lobby — while keeping the codebase clear enough for the team to contribute safely.

Decisions & tradeoffs

• Deposit-first registration instead of finish-profile-then-pay — players can deposit and play while profile completion continues (session-persisted form queues).
• Reuse the JER-TEAM Angular + NgRx panel shell instead of a one-off Welle architecture — sister brands stay consistent, the team works from one pattern.
• Light theme + Pixi/Spine motion on shared cashier/state patterns — brand change without forking core flows.
• Clear module boundaries and reviews so other developers could ship lobby/UI pieces without breaking auth or cashier.

What I built

• Led frontend development for Welle end to end — priorities with design/PM, architecture, and production releases.
• Worked with other developers on the project: task split, code reviews, and pairing on Angular/NgRx patterns.
• Light-theme lobby: sidebar (Loyalty, VIP, Promotions, Tournaments), ocean hero + promo carousel, category filters, Hot Games with Play/Demo.
• Deposit-first registration: deposit step in sign-up, bonus selection, min-deposit rules, session-persisted queues.
• Multi-step auth with conditional validation, progress tracking, promocode-aware entry.
• Cashier / payments UI with multi-currency amounts and NgRx finance state.
• NgRx + Socket.IO for live product state; PixiJS/Spine branded motion.
• Transloco i18n, Sumsub KYC, Sentry, Angular service worker (PWA).
• Lazy routes and aside outlets for account, cashier, alerts, and rewards panels.

Outcome

Live at welle.casino. Frontend led by me with other developers contributing under review — deposit-first onboarding and the light-theme shell shipped to production.
